Previously known as Ruth Rickman Designs, Saunton & Fleur was founded by Ruth Rickman, a well-known French furniture restorer working in both the UK and France. Ruth is renowned for her sophisticated shabby chic style, embracing the natural aesthetic of every piece, and distinctive colours that elevate and create space-defining pieces of furniture. Ruth’s original creations are designed for those who love to live creatively and express who they are through inspired interior choices.

We carefully repositioned the brand by developing a new name, creating an identity that will work beyond Ruth in the future, and add a sense of grandeur to her designs. We envisioned an identity that reflects the calibre of Saunton & Fleur’s beautifully restored and reimagined interior pieces, with the capacity to be enduringly and distinctively chic.

The delicate nuances crafted within the logo and the understated softness of the calligraphic styling subtly reflects an elegant French aesthetic, while working in harmony with Ruth’s distinctive designs.
