Breen Hotel

Awaken Your Soul.

As part of The Brand Stylist Elevate course, we helped to create an identity and overall branding concept for BREEN, a fictional boutique hotel, spa and Michelin-starred restaurant in Geirangerfjorden, Norway.

 The concept behind BREEN reflects travellers’ desire for a new breed of hotel, one that embraces the wonder of nature and sustainability, attracting kindred spirits from around the world. BREEN goes beyond the average hotel experience to focus on awakening our soul from the inside out; with fine food, simple, stylish sustainable interiors, and invigorating world-class spa facilities centred around using local plants and their healing properties. It’s a shame the hotel isn’t real, but the concept and the brand design we created for it most certainly is.

 The essence of our brand identity, and the mood behind it, is inspired by the beautiful story of Geirangerfjorden’s Seven Sisters Waterfall, creating a vision for the brand that offers both substance and style, with nature at its very heart. The legend tells that the seven sisters dance playfully down the mountain, bringing joy to the landscape and the waterfalls around them.

 We carefully curated each brand element into a harmonious, tactile whole that breathes life into the BREEN concept – aesthetically and emotionally. Giving the brand a serenely joyful, open presence which flows effortlessly across every aspect of the BREEN concept, connecting the hotel, restaurant and spa.
